Frequently Asked Questions

We are always happy to help. If you can’t find the information you are looking for, please don’t hesitate to reach out.

You can reschedule once at no cost with ≥ 24 hours’ notice. No-shows or same-day cancellations count as “Session 1” for refund purposes—future balance is refundable, the missed session fee is not.

You’re welcome to use the documents for your own career, but the Terms grant a personal licence only. Republishing, selling, or handing them out in a course or Facebook group isn’t allowed without written permission.

Send an email to info@govcareer.ca with your order number and a short note. If your request matches the refund window described in the Terms, the payment is reversed to your original card within 3-5 business days.

No one can promise that. No one can promise that. While my methodology has helped many clients secure interviews, hiring decisions remain solely with the employer. Results vary according to each client’s background, effort, and prevailing job-market conditions.

What I guarantee is: you’ll leave the audit with a clear, actionable strategy to beat most applicants. If not, I’ll refund the audit.

Please contact me directly, and I will be happy to answer your questions.

Terms and Conditions

Effective June 15, 2023

By purchasing any services from GovCareer.ca, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. These Terms explain your rights and responsibilities and outline the scope and limitations of the services offered. Please read them carefully.

GovCareer.ca operates as a sole proprietorship in Ontario, Canada.

2. General Terms of Service

GovCareer.ca provides advisory and coaching services for individuals pursuing government employment.

I’m not a recruitment agency and do not guarantee employment. Purchasing a service does not guarantee job offers or interview invitations.

Advice is based on publicly available hiring guidelines and experience.

All services are delivered virtually. All services—résumé audits, rewrites and coaching—are delivered online via Zoom, Google Meet, Loom, email, website and digital materials.

Client cooperation and engagement are required to achieve optimal results.

Services are for personal, non-commercial use only — reselling or redistributing materials is prohibited.

You must be ≥ 18 years old and legally able to enter into contracts.

3. Refund & Cancellation Policy

All purchases made on GovCareer.ca are for digital products or personalized services — including résumé audits, coaching sessions, and job search resources.

Résumé Audit Package — Money-Back Guarantee

If you don’t see at least three concrete résumé improvements in your Résumé Audit Action Plan, contact us at [info@govcareer.ca] within 48 hours of delivery for a full refund — no questions asked.

Coaching Packages & Downloadables — Final Sale

All services except the $49 Résumé Audit — including one-on-one coaching packages, interview prep, and downloadable resources — are non-refundable once booked or accessed. These offerings are customized and time-sensitive, and cannot be resold.

Missed Appointments & Cancellations

If you cancel with less than 24 hours’ notice or miss a scheduled session, the appointment is forfeited and no refund will be issued. Time is reserved exclusively for you.
If an emergency or technical issue arises, contact us as early as possible — exceptions may be made at our discretion.

Technical Issues or Concerns

If you experience trouble accessing a file or have concerns about a purchase, email [info@govcareer.ca] within 3 days of your order. We’re committed to resolving issues quickly and professionally.

Extended Satisfaction Guarantee (Full Packages Only)

If you don’t receive a single interview invite within three months of using your tailored résumé and job search strategy, we will re-evaluate your résumé and application approach once — at no additional cost.

This guarantee applies only to full coaching packages (not the $49 Résumé Audit) and assumes you’ve actively applied to suitable government jobs in Ontario.
